The first problem. You open a new app and it is full of buttons, half of which are not for your work. Say you are starting today, and you want only the things your own work needs.
The answer is simple. Signing up takes only a mobile number. There is no password. Press Send code, and type the four-digit code that arrives by SMS. Now fill in the business name, your own name and your state. Then choose what you need. You can pick one, or more than one. We chose Shop, so it asks only what kind of shop. Now Continue. GST and the address can wait. The last screen says back what you chose. The benefit: the menu shows only what you chose. Anything else can be added later, whenever you want.
The second problem: money given on credit. The notebook cannot be found, and memory does not hold. A customer says, but I already paid you. What will you show them?
The answer: an account for every customer. Open Customers, and there is who owes how much. Open the account of Ramesh Traders. Every entry is written down with its date. Today he paid five hundred rupees. Press You got, type the amount, and save. The balance changed at once. The benefit: no arguments about the account, and money collected on time.
The third problem: making a bill. By hand it takes time, and the tax gets added wrong. The counter is busy, and the customer wants a proper bill right now.
The answer: open a new bill and choose the customer. Add the item, and type the quantity. GST was added by itself. CGST and SGST are shown separately. Press Issue. The bill is ready, to print or to send on WhatsApp. The benefit: a correct bill in moments, and what was sold has come off the stock by itself.
The fourth problem. You learn that something has run out only when a customer leaves empty-handed. And at the end of the month, adding up sales and tax is a headache of its own.
The answer: Items holds all your stock. Press Low, and it shows what is running short. Reports has the day book, what is owed, sales and the GST summary, all ready. The benefit: you reorder in time, and never sit down separately to add things up.
The fifth problem belongs to any work where members pay a fee every month. Who has paid, who has not, and which seat is free? You keep turning the pages of a register.
The answer: Library. This business runs only Library. The first screen is today at a glance. How much in fees is unpaid, how many seats are taken in each shift, and who has to pay. Students lists every member's plan, seat and fee date. A new admission. Type the name, then choose the plan, the shift and the seat. Seats shows which seat is free, and Attendance the daily register. The benefit: fees remembered without turning a page, and every seat accounted for.
The sixth problem: daily instalments. Whom do you collect from today, and who has already paid? The collector has already left, and all you have is an old diary.
The answer: Lending. Today is the whole list for the day, with names and amounts. Press Collect, choose how it was paid, and save. The instalment is recorded. Loans holds the full schedule of every loan: how many instalments are in, and how many remain. The benefit: no instalment is missed, and nothing has to be tallied in the evening.
All of this runs under one login. Moving from one business to another is a single tap. Need something later? Add it from the business menu. If you stop needing it, turn it off. In Team, add your staff, and decide who can see what. And the whole app runs in Hindi too.
